1 Scope of Application & Key Definitions

This Policy does not prejudice any rights granted to you under mandatory applicable laws. Should any provision of this Policy conflict with such laws, the statutory provisions shall prevail.

1.1 Scope of Application

This Policy applies to all Sigenergy Services that reference it. If certain Services are governed by a “Separate Privacy Policy”, those terms shall take precedence regarding conflicts. Matters silent in a Separate Privacy Policy remain subject to this overarching Policy.

By registering an account or interacting with our Services, you acknowledge our processing of your information as described. If you disagree, you should cease use of the Services immediately, without prejudice to your statutory rights.

1.2 Key Definitions

“Personal Information / Personal Data”: Any information recorded electronically or otherwise that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. Anonymized information does not constitute Personal Information.

“Sensitive Personal Information / Special Category Data”: Information subject to stricter protection under certain legal frameworks (e.g., racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, genetic data, biometric data, health data, data concerning sexual orientation). We process such information only for specified purposes and when strictly necessary, and implement enhanced safeguards including but not limited to access control, encryption, and data minimization.
“Processor / Service Provider”: A third party that processes Personal Information on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions (e.g., cloud services, customer support systems, analytics, payment or logistics providers).

“Cookies and Similar Technologies”: Small data files stored on your device or tracking technologies implemented through comparable means, including but not limited to cookies, pixel tags, SDKs, scripts, and local storage. Under UK rules, Regulation 6 applies to any means of “storing information or accessing information stored on a user’s device”, and is not limited to traditional cookies.

2.1 Categories of Personal Information We Collect

2.1.1 Account Information

As necessary to fulfill our contract, we may collect account-related information when you create, log in to, manage, or update an account through our website, applications, or related platforms.
Such information may include, but is not limited to, your account identifier, username, password, country/region, email address, mobile phone number, account preference settings, and, where you choose to log in through a third-party account, the third-party account identifier and profile photo made available to us by that third party.
Passwords are generally stored in an encrypted or irreversible hashed format. We do not have access to your third-party account password.

We use this information to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, maintain account security, provide account-related services, remember your preferences, and communicate with you about your account or Services.

2.1.2 Contact and Delivery Information

As necessary to fulfill our contract, we may collect contact and delivery information when you place an order, request a quote, subscribe to updates, contact us, request customer support, or otherwise provide such information to us.
Such information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, company name where applicable, and other contact details you provide.

2.1.3 Order, Transaction and Purchase Information

As necessary to fulfill our contract, when you purchase products or services through our official online store or other authorized channels, we may collect information relating to your order and transaction.
Such information may include, but is not limited to, order number, purchased products, product model, quantity, price, discounts, tax information, invoice details, payment status, delivery status, return and refund records.

We use this information to process purchases, confirm orders, arrange delivery, provide invoices, manage returns and refunds, provide warranty and after-sales support, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with accounting, tax, and legal obligations.

2.1.4 Payment Information

As necessary to fulfill our contract, when you make a payment, certain payment-related information may be collected or processed to complete the transaction.
Such information may include payment method, payment status, transaction reference number, billing details, and confirmation information provided by payment service providers. Full card numbers, card security codes, or complete payment credentials are generally processed directly by certified third-party payment providers and are not stored by Sigenergy.

We use payment-related information to complete transactions, verify payment status, detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, process refunds, and comply with financial, tax, and legal requirements.

2.1.5 Device, Log and Website Usage Information

As necessary to fulfill our contract with you and to pursue our legitimate interests, when you visit our website, use our applications, interact with our emails, or access our digital Services, we may collect certain technical and usage information.
Such information may include, but is not limited to, IP address, browser type, operating system, device model, device identifiers, access time, page browsing paths, click records, referring pages, session duration, crash reports, error logs, and network connection information.

Such information may include, but is not limited to, your contact details, order number, product model, serial number/SN code, proof of purchase, fault description, support history, communication records, photos, videos, screenshots, diagnostic information, return or repair records, and other materials you provide.
We use this information to verify your request, diagnose product issues, provide technical support, process returns, refunds, repairs, or replacements, manage warranty claims, improve service quality, and protect our legal rights.

As necessary to fulfill our contract with you, in certain situations, you may choose or be asked to upload photos, videos, screenshots, documents, or other files, for example when submitting feedback, reporting a product issue, applying for after-sales service, or supplementing information requested by customer support.
We use such content only to the extent necessary to review your request, verify product condition, identify faults, process returns or warranty claims, provide customer support, or improve our Services.

You should ensure that any content you upload does not contain unnecessary sensitive information or information relating to third parties unless you have the right to provide it.

2.1.9 Location Information

No Personal Data is automatically shared or transferred to third-party websites/applications solely by clicking a link. 3.6 Advertising Providers

Where applicable, we may work with third-party advertising partners to display personalized advertisements to you on third-party websites using cookies or similar technologies and measure their performance. 4 How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information

4.1 Data Retention

5 Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding the Processing of your Relevant Personal Data:

7 Our Global Operations and Data Transfer

8 Minors

Our Services are intended for users who have reached the legal age of majority. We do not knowingly collect or store any personal information from minors.
